The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor World Tour touched down for the first time this Tuesday, July 11th in Las Angeles, California. The event kicked off with a song by recording artist Aloe Blacc and then two extended walk outs/walk arounds for the two fighters.

McGregor and Mayweather both delivered short speeches, in which Mayweather asserted that he’d be willing to fight Mayweather in MMA as well. And McGregor hyped up the confidence he’s already displayed by jumping into a massive pro-boxing match with no official experience. He also said that he’d KO Mayweather inside of four rounds.

The two men also faced off for their first official staredown, Both men did a lot of jawing at one another, unfortunately with their microphones turned off. Still this is sure to be just the first taste of what we’ll be seeing a lot of over the next couple months, both as part of the world media tour and in the immediate build up to the fight itself.

Mayweather vs. McGregor is set for August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stay tuned to Bloody Elbow for more news and updates as the fight approaches.
