Join us today on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring and play-by-play as the UFC takes the TUF 25 Finale to Las Vegas.

The headliner comes in the lightweight division, with veteran Michael Johnson taking on former WSOF champ Justin Gaethje in the latter’s UFC debut.

Today’s event basically falls into the regular Fight Night times. Live results and play-by-play will commence with the Fight Pass broadcast at 6pm ET/3pm PT for two fights. The event will then flip over to FS1 for four more prelims starting at 7pm ET, and stay there for the full main card which goes down at 9pm ET. The full lineup and schedule follows. Justin Gaethje vs. Michael Johnson

Round 1 – Johnson with two hard lefts that knock Gaethje back. He waves him in. Gaethje with a leg kick. Johnson connecting a ton with combinations. Gaethje walks him down, lands a huge combo, then a hard knee! Knee right back from Johnson. Gaethje with leg kicks. Johnson with straight lefts. Gaethje talking. Gaethje is giving Johnson zero room. Johnson digs to the body. Gaethje returns it. More leg kicks from Gaethje. Both land left hooks! Right hook form Gaethje, and leg kicks. He’s fighting his fight. Huge right hook! Another one. Three straight leg kicks. Johnson fires back with the left hook. Two right hooks from Gaethje. Three trade knees in the clinch. Gaethje with a left hook in close. Chopping leg kick from Gaethje. Uppercut from Gaethje. Johnson hurt him with an uppercut! Johnson tries to take him down. He’s whaling away against the fence! Gaethje is taking them and standing there. There goes the horn! Holy hell what a round! 10-9 Johnson.

Round 2 – Gaethje with a keg kick and lands a left. Johnson fires back with his own left. Gaethje with more kicks. Nice jab from Gaethje. Johnson hurt him again with a right! Gaethje wobbling but didn’t go down! Johnson clinched up and lands a deadly elbow. Gaethje firing back and he’s right there still! Wow. Gaethje gos back to kicking. Gaethje looking a bit slower now though. Left hook from him though. Hard straight right from the WSOF vet. Johnson working the body. Gaethje with a straight right. Gaethje with a knee to the body. Johnson goes body/head. Gaethje hurt Johnson with an uppercut! Two more massive shots! Johnson is barely standing up! He just fell down, and Gaethje flipped him off and told him to stand up! Johnson can barely stand but he does. Gaethje batters him into the cage and lands three brutal knees. Johnson crumpled to the mat, totally done, and the fight was waved off. THAT WAS AWESOME.

Dhiego Lima vs. Jesse Taylor

Round 1 – Taylor in on a single leg immediately. Lima hit him with a few hammerfists. He gets a brief takedown and sinks one hook. Finally he slams him down in the middle of the cage and works from top position. Lima can’t scoot away. Taylor gets his back again and looked for a choke. Lima spun out but Taylor stayed on top. Now he falls back with another choke. Lima pulled his chin out again. Taylor is mauling him. Landing punches with Lima pushed against the cage. Taylor gets mount and opens up with punches. 10-8 Taylor.

Round 2 – Lima dropped Taylor with a left immediately! Lima jumps him but Taylor reversed position and took his back. Sinks the choke yet again, and this time Lima has to tap out. Wow.

Marc Diakiese vs. Drakkar Klose

Round 1 – Klose with an outside leg kick, and again. Diakiese misses with a spinning kick. Klose with a takedown. Diakiese up quick, but Klose landed a couple of knees against the fence. Diakiese waited on a foot stomp, spun Klose around, and took him to the mat. That was nice. He’s landing body and head shots. Klose up. Diakiese with a body lock takedown and he’s on his back. Diakiese used a modified neckbreaker from pro wrestling to take him down. That was crazy. They separate. Klose drops Diakiese with a leg kick! He’s on top dropping shots! Diakiese locking him down. Diakiese rolls back for a leg lock and Klose clowns him a big. Diakiese on top now. 10-9 Klose.

Round 2 – Diakiese whiffs on a huge right hook. Klose goes back to the leg kick but Diakiese checks it. They clinch up. They separate with 3:30 to go. Diakiese jumped for a leg lock, but couldn’t secure anything. Diakiese back to the feet. Klose taunts him, then lands an inside leg kick and a combination. Jumping kick from Klose. Solid knee to the cup from Diakiese. The cornuts cam confirms that was definitely illegal. Diakiese catches a kick and digs to the body. Klose ties him up against the fence. Another low kick and an uppercut from Klose. Diakiese misses on a spin kick and ended up on his back. Klose kicked him in the butt. Diakiese up with 15 seconds to go. Klose chopped him down again withe leg kick! 10-9 Klose.

Round 3 – They touch gloves. Diakiese with a body kick. Jumping switch kick to the jaw from Diakiese! Klose just ate it. Klose ties him up against the cage. Diakiese lands a body shot. Klose with a jab. Klose advances and pops him with a left. He ducks a punch and gets a takedown. Diakiese immediately reverses though. Diakiese looking for a takedown. Back elbow from Klose. Clinch work. They break with 2:10 to go, but not for long. Diakiese with a straight right. Klose with a right hook. Klose is taunting him into striking, and laughing at him when he misses. More spinning stuff from Diakiese. Knee to the body from Klose. Klose scoops a single, but Diakiese reverses. Knee from Diakiese just as he came up. Was very borderline. Klose just walked through it anyway. 10-9 Diakiese but 29-28 Klose.

Nick Roehrick vs. Jared Cannonier

Round 1 – Nice right from Cannonier. Roehrick with a nice sneaky right. Cannonier with three big shots that Roehrick just eats. Tough guy. Cannonier with a head kick. Cannonier brawls into the clinch. Roehrick lands a nice right but Cannonier shows off some nice head movement. They both miss a bunch. They trade jabs. Cannonier with a lead right. Cannonier keeps turning his back after he lands a punch and Roehrick finally wrapped him up looking for a takedown. It didn’t come though. They trade jabs again. 10-9 Cannonier.

Round 2 – Leg kick from Cannonier. Double jab from Cannonier. Cannonier with a jab and right hook. Roehrick not landing. Cannonier in close with four big shots. He’s really opening up. Roehrick lands a right of his own. Cannonier is just walking him down. Roehrick with a left. Again. Huge right from Cannonier. He threw Roehrick to the mat and landed a ton of shots. But Roehrick took them all! Dude has a lot of heart. Step-in anchor punch from Cannonier. Roehrick lands a left. Jab from Cannonier. Another. Roehrick with a left hook. Cannonier with a straight right, but Roehrick fired back. Cannonier gets him against the fence and lands a knee to the body. Uppercut from Cannonier. 10-9 Cannonier.

Round 3 – Leg kick from Cannonier. Roehrick with a couple of rights. Cannonier not throwing as much in the third. Cannonier with a jab. Snap head kick wobbles Roehrick! Cannonier all over him. On the ground with big elbows! It’s over.

Elias Theodorou vs. Brad Tavares

Round 1 – Theodorou with an outside leg kick. They clinch up and Tavares lands a right hook. They battle in close and Tavares takes Theodorou down. He spins around to the back with one hook. Elias gets up with 3:35 to go. Outside leg kick from Tavares. Head kick from Theodorou. Tavares just waves him in for more. They clinch up. Inside leg kick from Theodorou. Tavares connects. More clinch work. Knee to the gut from Tavares. Theodorou with a glancing head kick. Tavares with a right hook. Body kick from Tavares too. Outside keg kick from Tavares. 10-9 Tavares.

Round 2 – Outside leg kick from Tavares knocked Elias off balance. Theodorou looked for a takedown and they clinched. They change positions a few times before separating. They trade hard shots in the clinch, with Tavares getting the best of it. Tavares with a hard inside leg kick but Theodorou caught it. He looked for a takedown but couldn’t get it. They trade knees. Theodorou with a nice left and a body kick. Tavares with a right over the top. Elias wiht a strange right hook that landed. Theodorou with two lead rights. Body shot from Elias. Inside leg kick from Tavares. 10-9 Theodorou.

Round 3 – Theodorou deep in on a takedown but Tavares fought it off. Impressive balance. Theodorou gets a body lock and puts him down though. Tavares never went all the way to his back, and he’s looking to escape against the cage. Tavares hits a switch to get up, but Theodorou held him against the fence. Theodorou with another brief takedown. Tavares looks to spin around and secure his back, and we’re in an awkward position here. Tavares does take his back with hooks and he’s looking for a choke. Theodorou almost scoots away but Tavares is hanging on. He transitions to an armbar attempt. Elias punches him in the butt. and takes top position, but Tavares reverses again. They’re back up with 18 seconds left. Tavares with a head kick. I’ll go 10-9 and 29-28 Tavares.

Jordan Johnson vs. Marcel Fortuna

Round 1 – Outside leg kick from Fortuna, but Johnson caught it and dumped him to the mat. Johnson with a few ground shots before Fortuna got back up. Fortuna with a double jab. Pretty timid pace early. Inside leg kick from Fortuna. They trade shots. Fortuna with a straight left. Johnson with an overhand right. He gets a body lock and goes to throw Fortuna down, but he grabbed the top of the cage. Ref didn’t even notice. Hard jab from Johnson. Step-in left hook from Fortuna. They trade power jabs. Johnson lands a second one. Hard body kick from Fortuna. 10-9 Johnson.

Round 2 – Body kick and a hard left from Fortuna. Nice right over the top from Fortuna. Now a straight left. Another hard right. He’s really turning it up here. Straight left from Fortuna again. Johnson with a nice combo punctuated by a straight right. Fortuna with a beautiful lead left hook. Body kick from Johnson. Body shot from Fortuna. Huge left hook from Fortuna! Johnson goes for a takedown, then connects with his own right hook and a body kick. Fortuna with a head kick. Johnson with a left hook. Outside leg kick from Fortuna, and again. A third. Johnson with a counter right. Fortuna with a big combo as Johnson tried to clinch. Johnson looking for another takedown but Fortuna grabs the top of the cage again. He still gets it though. Fortuna up and throwing at the horn. 10-9 Fortuna.

Round 3 – Johnson with a counter left and a strafing right hook. Johnson stuffed a takedown attempt and threw Fortuna to the mat for a second. Fortuna with a nice lead left hook. Step-in right hook from Fortuna. Johnson replies with a counter left. Fortuna with a quick uppercut. They both land jabs. The crowd is restless. Johnson with a jab and he stuffs a takedown attempt. Fortuna with a big left-right combo. Fortuna with a body kick. Fortuna with a jab. They both miss with uppercuts. Johnson pops him in close a couple of times. They clinch up. Fortuna spins away with 45 seconds to go. Fortuna rips him with two kicks, and another. Another to close out the fight. 10-9 and 29-28 Fortuna.

Angela Hill vs. Ashley Yoder

Round 1 – Some feinting to start. Outside leg kick and push kick from Yoder. Hill with an outside leg kick and a right. Yoder clinches up and gets a takedown. Hill got up but Yoder just stayed attached to her. Spider Monkey, indeed. They separate. Hill with a right and an outside leg kick. Hill with a reaching right. They trade low kicks. Hill catches a kick and cracks back with one of her own. Hill with a hard right at the end of a combo. Hill with another combo coming forward. Head kick! She’s in control of the striking here. 10-9 Hill.

Round 2 – Yoder with an immediate takedown. She works from half, but Hill is doing her best to hold her down. Yoder got a little busy with body shots. Hill got up halfway through the round with Yoder trying to hold onto her again, but Hill dumped her down and landed a big shot. Hill works from the top for a minute, then backs out and lets Yoder up. Hill with a superwoman punch. Nice right from Hill as Yoder threw a front kick. They trade body kicks. Hill wit ha right. 10-9 Hill.

Round 3 – Body kick from Yoder. Low outside leg kick form Yoder. Hill with a huge overhand right. Yoder has a takedown stuffed. Hill takes her back as Yoder holds onto a leg. Yoder spins around and drags Hill down to her butt. Hill up and lands a right. Hill stuffs a takedown attempt. Hill with her own takedown. That’s a surprise. They’re back up with 90 seconds to go. Hill with a low kick. She lands a hard straight right as Yoder wades into the pocket. They trade body kicks and Yoder lands a left. They trade again. 10-9 and 30-27 Hill.

James Krause vs. Tom Gallicchio

Round 1 – Gallicchio with an early takedown. He takes the back but only has one hook. Krause just stands up with him on his back, which makes Gallicchio disengage. Krause with a body kick. Counter left from Krause, and he stuffs a takedown attempt. Hard straight right from Krause. And another. Now changes stances and lands a left. They trade shots. Gallicchio grabs an ankle but Krause hops away. Heavy head kick from Krause. Body shit from Gallicchio. Counter left from Krause. Huge straight right from Krause, and another! 10-9 Krause.

Round 2 – Gallicchio with an outside leg kick. Hard lead right from Krause. Gallicchio with a body shot. Hard lead right from Gallicchio. Krause looking for a lead uppercut. Outside leg kick from Gallicchio. A right from Krause again as Gallicchio bails on a shot. They trade shots as Gallicchio advances. Krause is peppering him with shots and avoiding Gallicchio’s pressure. Gallicchio with a lead right but eats a left counter and an uppercut. Krause wit ha hard knee. 10-9 Krause.

Round 3 – Krause with a counter right and a lead left. Changing stances. Gallicchio missed badly with a takedown attempt. Gallicchio’s nose is bleeding. Krause with a solid right. Gallicchio charged in but was too close to land a hard right. Krause effectively moving out of range of Gallicchio’s offense. They trade shots. Krause really looking for the lead right uppercut but keeps just missing. Nice right and takedown attempt stuffed by Krause. Krause is taunting his friend a bit. Gallicchio with a left, finally. He lands a nice right as well. Krause with a left and a head kick. Gallicchio immediately shot in for a takedown. Big step-in knee from Krause at the horn. 10-9 and 30-27 Krause.

C.B. Dollaway vs. Ed Herman

Round 1 – Herman with a huge right straight out that lands on Dollaway’s ear. Dollaway get a takedown though and worked from side control. Herman got guard back, so Dollaway stacked him against the cage. Herman went for a brief kneebar. Dollaway is controlling from his back down. He’s spinning around on top and in complete control. He looked for a kimura but couldn’t secure it. Herman looked to get on top from the spot but Dollaway wouldn’t allow that. Herman back to his feet, but not for long. Dollaway back in Herman’s full guard. Easy 10-9 Dollaway.

Round 2 – Dollaway with a leg and body kick. Herman with a standing elbow. Dollaway with a head kick. Herman looks gassed out. Herman with a right and catches a kick. He worked from the top briefly but CB got up. Jab from Dollaway. They trade rights. Dollaway with another leg kick. Herman dropped Dollaway with a combination. Dollaway looks for a heel hook. Herman escapes and lands a right on the ground. Herman lands a few shots on top. Hard right elbow. Dollaway looking for a leg lock again. He uses it to reverse position. 10-9 Herman.

Round 3 – Dollaway has a cut over his eye. Dollaway shoots and gets a takedown. Herman looking for a guillotine but he’s in position. Herman secures a kimura and tries to use to to reverse, but Dollaway pulls away and stays on top. He lands some hard elbows in Herman’s half guard. More elbows. Dollaway in full guard but still punishing Herman. Herman got his legs up and looked for an omoplata, but Dollaway easily defended. Herman uses a kneebar attack to reverse position with 30 seconds to go, but Dollaway rolled throught and got his back. A few more punches. 10-9 and 29-28 Dollaway.

CB Dollaway defeated Ed Herman by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-27, 29-27)

Juliana Lima vs. Tecia Torres

Round 1 – Torres closes the distance immediately. Lima catches a kick and puts Torres on her back. Torres pushed her off and gets up, and they battle for position. Torres clinches up and lands some knees to the thighs. Lima grabbed the fence as Torres went for a takedown. She was warned. The ref separates them with two minutes to go. Some kicks and feints from both ladies. Torres with a left as she clinches up again. They stall out again. Lima lands a solid knee to the body. Torres returns it. 10-9 Torres I guess.

Round 2 – Lima with a jab and a head kick. Torres with a right. Torres stuffs a takedown and takes the back. She sinks a choke immediately. And it’s over! Wow that was fast!

Gray Maynard vs. Teruto Ishihara

Round 1 – After some posturing, Maynard gets a takedown. Ishihara squirms to the fence and gets up briefly, but Maynard sweeps him back down. Up again, down again. He’s finally back up with 2:45 to go. He landed a punch and tried a flying knee, but ended up on his back again. Maynard looking to pass briefly, but now takes the back. Ishihara back up again though. Ishihara with a body kick. Maynard with a body shot and another takedown. Bully indeed. Three side elbows to the head. Maynard moves to mount. Big shot. 10-9 Maynard.

Round 2 – Maynard with a combo. Ishihara with a left but he slips. He’s back up, but gets double-legged to the mat. Ishihara up, gets slammed back down. Rinse, repeat. This looks a lot like the first round. Ishihara doing his best to scramble back to his feet, but Maynard is all over him. He tried to take his back but it allowed Ishihara to escape. He landed one knee and went back to the floor. Up. Down. Up. Down. 10-9 Maynard.

Round 3 – Maynard circles for 20 seconds, ducks the first punch, and gets the takedown easily. Maynard takes his back with no hooks. Lands a few knees. He’s looking for a kimura now. Ishihara cage walks out of danger. Maynard with some knees to the side. Ishihara landed some kicks to a grounded fighter and the ref warns him. They restart in the same position. Maynard just continues to bully him. It wasn’t pretty, but it was effective. 10-9 and 30-27 Maynard.
