UFC 213 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the four fighters that make up the top of the card.

The episode kicks off with interim middleweight title challenger Robert Whittaker, who plays a game of mini-ball soccer in his gym before getting down to a workout. He also discusses his motivations.

Next up is Yoel Romero, the man Whittaker will be facing. He’s shown doing a bit of boxing interspersed with a story. He compares his fight with Whittaker to the 1974 boxing fight between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali. Everyone thought the younger Foreman would take Ali out, but that’s not what happened.

Women’s bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko does a workout in a park in Vegas, and talks about the advantages of not having to cut weight. Back at the hotel, she meets up with their sister and they head to a gun range. Her nickname is Bullet, after all.

Finally, we get to see the champ, Amanda Nunes. She’s working out in the UFC Performance Institute with coach Din Thomas and her girlfriend Nina Ansaroff. She discusses how she’s going to beat Shevchenko in their rematch over five rounds.

And that’s it!

UFC 213 goes down Saturday, July 8th in Las Vegas.
