The main attraction in the Bellator NYC main event is a light heavyweight bout between rivals Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva, who will finally fight inside an MMA cage after numerous unsuccessful attempts in the UFC.

At Thursday’s press conference, all ten main card fighters were on stage, but of course the intrigue was whether or not we’d get something memorable from one of Chael or Wanderlei. It was heated (or, heated as it could be in 2017), with both men gesturing and jawing at each other. Wanderlei then used his left hand to shove Chael essentially all the way to the East River. Security, as well as Bellator president Scott Coker, did all they could to prevent total chaos from breaking out. After this incredibly forceful move from Silva, the two men were separated and Wanderlei was escorted off stage.

Bellator NYC: Sonnen vs. Silva airs live on pay-per-view from Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 24th.
