This past weekend saw the latest Glory event, as the company presented Glory 41 Holland. Here’s a look at what’s currently on tap for the next two Glory shows.
First up will be Glory 42 Paris on Saturday, June 10. The main event there is a great one as Welterweight champion Cedric Doumbe rematches with the man he took the title from, Nieky Holzken. Doumbe won the belt in December and has since defended it once. For Holzken, that fight snapped an 11 fight winning streak that saw him rise to become one of the top 2 or 3 fighters in the world. He’ll look to reclaim that status here. Also in Paris is a Lightweight tournament, plus an excellent fight in Yoann Kongolo vs. Antoine Pinto.
After that, Glory is back stateside for Glory 43 New York on Friday, July 14. Lots of great names on that card including Benjamin Adegbuyi and Josh Jauncey. Adegbuyi is expected to headline against Glory 41 tournament winner D’Angelo Marshall, with the winner getting a shot at champion Rico Verhoeven, but that is not official just yet. The tournament here is at Featherweight, and is a stacked, pick ‘em field – don’t miss that one.
