A new wave of roster cuts has been implemented within the UFC. Among the names that were taken off the online roster are welterweight Brandon Thatch and China’s Li Jingliang.

Thatch (11-5, all wins by stoppage), showed a lot of promise upon his entry into the UFC in 2013. However, he went on a recent four-fight losing streak, against Benson Henderson, Gunnar Nelson, Siyar Bahadurzada, and most recently against Niko Price, whom he lost to via first round submission at UFC 207.

Li (12-4, nine wins by stoppage), on the other hand, began his Octagon career in 2014. He remains as one of the top fighters out of China, with a record of 4-2 in the UFC. He is currently on a two-fight win-streak, with his most recent victory against Bobby Nash at UFC Denver in late January. Li won via second round knockout. On his case, it seems likely that his contract has expired and hasn’t been renewed.

Here is the full list of fighters who were recently taken off the online roster, according to UFC Fighters Info:

· Brandon Thatch

· Li Jingliang

· Yusuke Kasuya

· Felipe Olivieri

· Chris Avila

· Jason Novelli

· J.C. Cottrell

· Nicolas Dalby

· Dong-Yi Yang

· Erick Montano
