Bellator 172: Thomson vs. Pitbull streaming video, live results, and play-by-play
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results, streaming video (prelims) and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 172 comes to San Jose. Unfortunately the fight everyone was tuning in for, a heavyweight tilt between legend Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione, was called off at the last second due to Mitrione falling ill. This definitely takes a lot of the luster off the event, but the show must go on.

The new main event will see veteran lightweight Josh Thomson taking on Patricky “Pitbull” Freire.

You can watch all of the prelim action starting at 7pm ET/4pm PT by viewing the video stream at the top of the page. There are a loooot of prelims, so I think some might be unaired or going down after the main card. The main card itself begins live on Spike TV at 9 PM ET/PT. Join us and let us know what you think of tonight’s fights.
