It didn’t take too long for his featherweight belt to be stripped (or voluntarily “relinquished”?), but Conor McGregor’s stock is still riding high after being the first simultaneous two-division champion in the UFC. The feat is already impressive, but the way he dispatched of two talented champions and made it look easy was certainly something to behold.
By winning two belts, and having his star power grow even more, the question most people have asked is “Who’s next?”. There certainly a number of interesting options for the Irish star in two, or even three divisions, but which of them has the best chance of dethroning him?
Jose Aldo? Nate Diaz again? Khabib Nurmagomedov’s massive threat on the ground? What about something that “haters would love” and possibly going for a third belt against Woodley?
Several UFC fighters have also recently debated this, and watch on the clip above as Ryan Bader, Thomas Almeida, and numerous competitors from UFC Sao Paulo discuss who they think could beat Conor McGregor.
