As the newly-crowned simultaneous two-weight world champion, Conor McGregor feels he has earned the right to make certain demands. Which is why right after his fight at UFC 205, he went on to ask for a piece of ownership in the company.

“If you want me to stick around, if you want me to keep doing what I’m doing, let’s talk. But I want ownership now. I want equal share. I want what I deserve,” McGregor said during the UFC 205 post-fight presser.

While it is uncertain whether the UFC would heed to McGregor’s demands, some of the new celebrity shareholders are willing to give “The Notorious” a piece of theirs. One of them being actor Mark Wahlberg.

For former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz, however, McGregor getting shares of the company would be highly unlikely, based on his own circumstance, at least.

“Sh-t, if they’re not giving me a piece, they’re not gonna give him a piece. Congratulations to Mark Wahlberg, he invested in a great company that I helped build,” Ortiz told TMZ.

Ortiz now fights under Bellator, and will be welcoming Chael Sonnen into the company when they face each other on January 21st in Los Angeles.
