For hardcore boxing fans, it doesn’t get much bigger than this weekend. In one of the year’s best, most anticipated, and most evenly matched fights, Sergey Kovalev takes on Andre Ward. The fight could reasonably determine the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world, and is one fans have been looking forward to. Here are the latest odds, courtesy of Bovada:

Andre Ward -145
Sergey Kovalev +115

Those are about as close as you’re going to find in a major boxing fight, which makes sense, as this is a true pick ‘em fight. Both Ward and Kovalev have skills that could bring them the win – it’s hard to know who will implement his game, which makes putting anything down here a tough proposition. But if you are thinking about betting, maximize your potential winnings by adding in the method of victory. For Ward, a win will almost certainly come via decision, as he is not a huge power puncher, at it seems highly unlikely he could KO the fierce Kovalev. On the flipside, a Kovalev win would almost certainly come via KO, as he would be unlikely to to outbox the master technician.

So fight fans, will you be betting?
