We’re at the halfway mark of the UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor preliminary card, and on the FS1 prelims, fans were treated to a huge KO by Vicente Luque, who took this fight just under three weeks ago. His win over Belal Muhammad marked the first finish of tonight’s historic first ever UFC show in New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Vicente Luque def. Belal Muhammad via KO (punches) at 1:19 of round 1 – Welterweights
Luque took this fight on short notice and picked up yet another quick knockout win. He put the pressure on Muhammad early, and the Blackzilians product drilled Muhammad with a brilliant counter left hook. Muhammad was floored instantly and then completely put out cold by the brutal ground strikes that followed. That’s four wins in a row for Luque and a 2nd loss in 3 UFC fights for Muhammad.
