Bellator has gone very international, holding an event in the Israeli port city of Tel Aviv for the first time. The card, which took place yesterday, will be aired on Spike TV tonight at the usual time, 9pm ET. The top four fights from the card will make the broadcast. Usually Bellator streams the undercard online as well, but they won’t be doing that for this event.
Yes, we have already posted the results from this card on Bloody Elbow. Yes, you could go look at them if you wanted to. But many people like to watch fights unspoiled, so I’ll type this in bold so it’s really easy to understand – IF YOU SPOIL THE FIGHTS IN THE COMMENTS, YOU WILL BE SHOWN THE DOOR.
Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get down to business. Bellator 164 will be headlined by a rematch for the promotion’s welterweight title, with champ Andrey Koreshkov looking to defend against the man he took the belt from, Douglas Lima. Also featured on the card is Noad Lahat, who fights Scott Cleve. Here’s the full list of what will air on TV tonight:
Andrey Koreshkov vs. Douglas Lima [WW title]
Noad Lahat vs. Scott Cleve
Lena Ovchynnikova vs. Karla Benitez
Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Kirill Medvedovsky
So, if you’re checking the show out, join us in the comments and let everyone know what you think (with no spoilers!).
