When Rashad Evans got pulled from UFC 205 due to a potential medical issue, Tim Kennedy – Rashad’s scheduled opponent – went into overtime trying to find someone to take a fight with him on short notice. Whether anyone was willing or not doesn’t seem to have mattered, however, as the UFC announced shortly afterward that they had no plans to re-book Kennedy with a new opponent for the event.

The fallout also called into question Kennedy’s future in MMA, as he had already said that even off a win he may potential walk away from the sport after UFC 205. Would he be willing to hang around for a new fight and a new date, something other than a spot on one of the UFC’s all time biggest PPVs? It looks like the answer is yes. At least to the date and the card. The opponent is staying just the same.

TSN reports that the UFC is keeping Kennedy vs. Evans alive as the next bout for both men, but they’ll be moving the fight to UFC 206. The card, which takes place on December 10th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is set to be headlined by a light heavyweight championship bout between Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson. At the moment it’s unclear exactly where Evans vs. Kennedy will fall on the card, but it seems likely slated for PPV.

Here’s a look at the UFC 206 fight card as it stands right now:

Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson
Max Holloway vs. Anthony Pettis
Rashad Evans vs. Tim Kennedy
Valérie Létourneau vs. Viviane Pereira
Zach Makovsky vs. Dustin Ortiz
Nikita Krylov vs. Misha Cirkunov
John Makdessi vs. Lando Vannata
Chad Laprise vs. Li Jingliang
Cub Swanson vs. Doo Ho Choi
Jason Saggo vs. Rustam Khabilov
Mitch Gagnon vs. Matthew Lopez
Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Drew Dober
Jordan Mein vs. Emil Weber Meek
