Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results, streaming video (prelims) and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 163 comes to the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. The card has taken a major hit over the last 24 hours with two main card fights pulled, but there is still a title fight on top that should provide plenty of action. That headliner will see Bellator light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary put up his belt against Phil Davis.

You can watch all of the prelim action starting at 6:45pm ET by viewing the video stream at the top of the page. The main card begins live on Spike TV at 9 PM ET/PT (delayed to the west coast). Join us and let us know what you think of tonight’s fights.

Here’s the current card, with the Paul Daley and Marloes Coenen bouts unfortunately not taking place now.

Liam McGeary vs. Phil Davis

Round 1 – Front kick from McGeary. Throwing out jabs. Davis wiith two leg kicks. McGeary responds with his own kick. Davis has a takedown attempt stuffed and ate a knee. Hard left hook from Davis. Head kick from Davis, and a second one. McGeary looks to clinch up, but gave up a takedown. Davis is in mount. He moved out to side and landed a bunch of punches. Knees to the body. Davis just riding his back. Now he’s opening up with more punches again. McGeary rolls through and just dodged a head kick as he got up. Couple of low kicks from Davis. He shoots back in, but McGeary stopped him against the cage. Davis slips on a kick at the horn. 10-9 Davis.

Round 2 – Leg kick from Mr. Wonderful. Another. Cup check, but no stop. They traded body kicks, twice. McGeary with a couple of jabs. Davis gets a takedow near the cage. He stepped over into mount. Knee on belly now. Davis dropping a few elbows. All Phil here, but McGeary isn’t in major danger yet. McGeary pushed off the cage and gets back to his feet with 30 seconds to go. He lands a couple of punches. 10-9 Davis.

Round 3 – McGeary with a few jabs. They exchange a few kicks. Davis with another takedown. He moves immediately to mount, then back to knee to belly. Then to side. McGeary can’t do anything. Davis with a few punches, and he looks for an arm. Back to mount. Back to knee on belly. And repeat. 10-9 Davis.

Round 4 – McGeary needs to go all out here but he’s not showing any urgency. He gets pushed against the cage and taken down yet again. This is a carbon copy of the first three rounds. Davis cuts him open with an elbow. More movement on top, but nothing even close to a finish. 10-9 Davis.

Round 5 – I think you know what I’m going to say here. Davis takedown. And he’s riding on top, not really looking to finish the fight. I’m not sure how much I can repeat myself. Each round looks literally exactly the same – all Davis. McGeary just has nothing for his guard passing game and his work on top. The only debatable thing is whether some of these rounds are 10-8’s. I have them all 10-9 because there’s no threat of a finish. 10-9 and 50-45 Davis.

Phil Davis defeats Liam McGeary by unanimous decision (50-43, 50-45, 50-44)

Saad Awad vs. Brennan Ward

Round 1 – Ward walked him down. Awad slipped on a head kick. Both men swinging. Ward with aa brief takedown. Leg kick from Awad. Ward clinches up. Ward opens up against th cage. They open up into a firefight! Ward cracks him with a brutal left and Awad hits the floor. Game over.

Brennan Ward defeats Saad Awad by KO (punches), 1:26 of round 1

Dustin Collins-Miles vs. Ed Ruth

Round 1 – Ruth got dropped briefly by a punch. He popped up and immediately decided to go to his wrestling instead. Pretty quick stepover into mount. Collins-Miles gives up his back. Few punches. Lots of blood now. He’s just leaking. Ruth being methodical. Eventually he opened up with his punching a little more and got the stoppage.

Ed Ruth defeated Dustin Collins-Miles by TKO (strikes), round 1

Rudy Bears vs. Neiman Gracie

Round 1 – Slow pace to start. Bears jab. There is nothing happening except some booing. Low leg kick by Bears. Gracie shoots in and eventually gets the takedown. He worked from half for a few seconds, then immediately moved to mount. Has full back mount now. Body triangle. Looking for the choke. Bears was able to defend though. Switched to an armbar, and Bears tapped.

Neiman Gracie defeated Rudy Bears by submission (armbar), 4:39 of round 1

Javy Ayala vs. Sergei Kharitonov

Round 1 – Sergei presses forward immediately, but has to stuff a takedown. Ayala with an overhand right and Kharitonov is out cold! Fell like a tree! WOW!
