Georges St-Pierre won’t be fighting in Toronto at UFC 206, as Dana White let on a few days ago. In fact, it looks as if he won’t be fighting in the UFC any time soon, if ever again. St-Pierre made a massive announcement on The MMA Hour, saying that he’s a free agent, with his lawyer terminating his contract with the UFC.
GSP says his lawyer terminated his contract after giving UFC a deadline to fight on his old deal. Sounds like it’s not a mutual decision.

GSP believes a deal could’ve been reached if Lorenzo was still there, “but when the new owners came, all the offers were off the table.”

As far as his fighting future and fielding offers from other promotions, with Bellator MMA standing out as one of the lead names to sign him, he simply replied, “We’ll see what’s going to happen.”
Bloody Elbow will have more quotes and video of this MMA Hour interview with Georges St-Pierre later today, and will continue to track new developments over the next several days (and possibly weeks).
