Veteran UFC analyst Joe Rogan and Cris Cyborg have had their differences in the past. Particularly, it was Rogan’s off-color jokes about the current Invicta featherweight champion having male genitals, in which he issued an apology for, afterwards.
Upon her entry into the UFC, Cyborg has twice cut down to 140-pounds, due to the non-existence of the 145-pound division for female fighters. To her credit, she did win both of her fights under the company in convincing fashion via TKO: a first round win against Leslie Smith at UFC 198 in May, and a second round victory on Saturday night against Lina Lansberg in her first Fight Night headliner held in her home country of Brazil.
Cyborg’s weight-cutting troubles have been extremely problematic, that she has even resorted to taking birth control pills as one solution to deal with it. It is a growing concern that Rogan feels the UFC needs to address soon.
.@ufc please open up a 145lbs division for @criscyborg. Her torturing herself to make 140 is insane and she’s incredibly entertaining.

UFC president Dana White recently said that there are no plans to create new women’s divisions any time soon.
