This Sunday, former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones took to Instagram to show gratitude to his fans and supporters, as well as to provide a brief update on his current situation. This comes just over a month after being pulled from UFC 200 due to a test failure, which scratched his rematch with Daniel Cormier. The video appears to have been removed from Instagram, but we have it for you here courtesy of Chamatkar Sandhu on Twitter.

“How’s it going Jones Bones supporters? if there are any of you guys still out there…

Just wanted to take a few seconds to say hello to you all and to give you a little update on how I’ve been doing. Been doing really good. Been training, spending time with family, attacking some of these legal issues that I’ve gotten myself into and trying to really just leave all that behind once and for all.

Sure you guys are curious about with this USADA situation. Obviously, I can’t get into it because it’s still pending but, what I can say is that that we have found out lots of really good news and I am expecting to be back in the octagon really soon. Thank you guys for your support. Love you guys and I hope you’re spending this Sunday with the people that you love.

Alright, be good and hope to see you guys really soon. Bye.”

Now, Jones obviously could not get into specifics. We could very well find out in due time more about what has changed in his situation, since he still does not have a hearing scheduled with the Nevada Athletic Commission regarding the matter. His emphasis on his next fight being “really soon“ could mean a return this same year, but we won’t know until anything is made official.
