The UFC is in Chicago for a FOX event headlined by former women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm, who will fight fellow striker Valentina Shevchenko. Gilbert Melendez makes his return to the Octagon against Edson Barboza in a pivotal lightweight co-main event.

As always, before we get to the fights ahead we have to make sure they’re all on course to make weight. Bloody Elbow has live updates on the UFC on FOX 20: Holm vs. Shevchenko weigh-ins starting at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT on Friday, July 22nd. Live video of the weigh-ins can be viewed by pressing the play button at the top of the page. Fighters will weigh-in earlier in the day in a specific timeframe, and the results will be announced when the fighters pretend to weigh-in during the broadcast. If anyone misses weight, then that’s a wrap. There is no re-weigh. If the deadline is missed, the fight is cancelled. The live stream you’re watching is window dressing, and all of the real stuff has already been done.
