UFC president Dana White is on the receiving end of death threats from a former MMA fighter, according to TMZ Sports.
Dan Quinn and a crew of his have tickets to Saturday evening’s UFC 200 and plan on bringing weapons to kill White, per the report. Quinn is reportedly “angry over some unresolved bad blood.” White is shaking off the supposed death threats, however.
Quinn is an MMA fighter with a 5-7-1 record who hasn’t fought since 2010. He never made it to the UFC, but gained a following online thanks to his rather strange videos posted on YouTube, which included regular rants regarding White. In 2012, Quinn dropped White with death threats in a voicemail accusing him of sending in hired gunmen to murder him and his family. Quinn threatened to shoot White in the head.
Quinn has been arrested and jailed on numerous occasions, including for possession of a firearm by a felon, domestic violence among other things.
UFC 200 is currently going down from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes headlines the landmark card later this evening.
