Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results, streaming video of the preliminary card and detailed play-by-play as Bellator 156: Galvao vs. Dantas goes off from The Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.

In the sequel to February 2013’s “teacher vs. student” match, bantamweight champ Marcos “Loro” Galvao defends the strap against electric talent and former pupil Eduardo “Dudu” Dantas. Dantas, who submitted Zach Makovsky in April of 2012 to become Bellator’s alpha-bantamweight, defeated Galvao via strikes in his first successful title defense. The belt would later change hands when wrestler Joe Warren defeated Dantas by decision at Bellator 128 in 2014, and again after Galvao kneebarred Warren at Bellator 135 in March 2015.

Also on the main card: former middleweight champ Brandon Halsey takes on John Salter, fluid striker Chidi Njokuani draws Thiago Jambo and Danish prospect Mikkel Parlo squares off with D1 All-American Chris Honeycutt. The preliminary card will stream live and free on Bloody Elbow.
