On June 17, 2016 Fedor Emelianenko is coming to UFC Fight Pass. EFN 50 is being broadcast live from St. Petersburg, Russia and will be headlined by heavyweight legend, Fedor Emelianenko, who will be looking to score his fifth-consecutive victory when he faces Fabio Maldonado. EFN 50 airs live exclusively on UFC Fight Pass with a start time of 11AM EDT.

Fedor Emelianenko (35-4) vs. Fabio Maldonado (22-9)

It feels a bit wrong that Fedor is only fighting on UFC Fight Pass and still not on a UFC show, but despite that it will be interesting to see how he performs against Fabio Maldonado. While it seems Fedor’s best days are behind him, he has shown shades of his former greatness in his last four fights, his knock out against Rizzo was extremely violent and his comeback fight against Singh was predictably one-sided. Emelianenko seems eager to make another run in MMA and has once again recently teased a UFC berth,Fabio Maldonado should provide a decent opportunity to showcase his skills ahead of a potential UFC run.

Fabio Maldonado is the sort of fighter that is rarely in a boring fight. Over the course of his UFC tenure, Maldonado alternated between being a high-volume boxer and being a human punching bag. Like Fedor, it seems Maldonado’s best days are far behind him, though unlike Fedor, Maldonado doesn’t have the propensity for a one-punch knockout. Maldonado will have to up his output to stand a chance in this one.

Vitaly Minakov (17-0) vs. Peter Graham (12-9-0)

This co-main event is actually very interesting, in one corner we have the undefeated Vitaly Minakov, the former-Bellator champion and in the other we have Peter Graham, who last competed against Mariusz Pudzianowski. While this one may look like a squash match on paper, Graham is always game, his rolling thunder knockout against Badr Hari remains one of the most electrifying moments in combat sport’s history. Minakov will be looking to cement his position as one of the best heavyweights in the world and Graham will be hoping to prove that he has the skills the hang with the sport’s elite.

EFN 50 airs live exclusively on UFC Fight Pass with a start time of 11AM EDT.
