Kickboxing legend and K-1 staple Sam Greco, returns this week for his second-last appearance (for now) in Submission Radio’s “Technique of the Week”.

In this week’s edition, Greco focuses on attacking the often neglected rear leg. Watch in the video above as Sam demonstrates how to correctly attack your opponent’s rear leg by creating angles, while also avoiding getting countered. The “cherry on top” of this technique is that if done correctly, it can also set your opponent up and leave them open for a follow-up strike to the head.

Sam Greco is a retired Kickboxer, Karate practitioner and MMA fighter. His biggest success came as a kickboxer in the late 90’s, fighting for the K-1 organization. There, he faced such iconic names as Mirko Cro Cop, Ernesto Hoost, Ray Sefo, Jerome Le Banner, Peter Aerts, and even came third in the 1999 K-1 World Grand Prix

Submission Radio posts technique videos every Wednesday, demonstrating a variety of moves from BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Sambo, and much more.
