According to a report, Nate Diaz couldn’t wait until UFC 202 to get into a fight. The man that defeated Conor McGregor was in attendance at UFC 199 and a statement from Evan Rodner, who produces Brendan Schaub’s The Fighter and the Kid podcast, says that Diaz got into it with Jason Guida (via MMA Mad):

“It looked like Nate Diaz got into an altercation with Jason Guida, Clay Guida’s older brother. I have no idea what it was over, but all of a sudden there were a ton of bodies entering the tunnels in the back. After the scuffle had ended, Diaz walked back into the arena as though nothing had happened. He didn’t give one single f*ck.”

No one from either camp has confirmed the scrap, but UFC fighter Nicolas Dalby posted an image on his Snapchat with the caption “Huge fight just broke out backstage between Nate Niaz (sp) and Clay Guida + team!”

Clay Guida fought on the UFC 199 card, losing via late TKO to Brian Ortega. Jason Guida is a journeyman light heavyweight fighter that was eliminated from TUF 12 on the first episode. He most recently fought for Bellator in 2014 and holds a career record of 19-28 (2 NC).

Diaz will meet Conor McGregor in a rematch in the UFC 202 headliner in August.
