Sam Greco returns for another edition of Submission Radio’s “Technique of the Week”, and this week he’s showing you how to surprise your opponents with an inside low kick.

In the video above, the kickboxing legend and K-1 veteran demonstrates how to time an incoming outside leg kick, and catch your opponent with your own inside leg kick. The attack will not only take away your opponent’s balance, but also set them up for a follow-up strike to the face. As with most of Sam’s previous technique demonstrations, the follow-up strike is intended to inflict serious damage, if not end the fight.

Greco retired in 2005 after a knockout win over Shungo Oyama under MMA rules. His kickboxing career highlights took place primarily in K-1, throughout the late 90’s, where he faced such legends as Mirko Cro Cop, Ernesto Hoost, Ray Sefo, Jerome Le Banner and Peter Aerts. Along with being a five-time Australian Karate champion, Greco also came third in the 1999 K-1 World Grand Prix.

Submission Radio posts technique videos every Wednesday, demonstrating a variety of moves from BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Sambo, and much more.
