Kickboxing legend and K-1 staple, Sam Greco, returns for another edition of Submission Radio’s “Technique of the Week” to continue showing you how to counter the jab.
If you missed it, last week’s technique revolved around coming over the top of the jab with your own counter strike. This week, Greco continues the tradition and shows a variation of the previous combination. Only this time, he’ll be showing you how to slip and counter on the inside, as well as potentially finish your opponent with a powerful combination.
Check out the video above, as Sam breaks down the combination that brought him a lot of success during his K-1 run.
Greco retired in 2005 after almost two decades of competing in Karate, Kickboxing and MMA. Throughout his many years of active competition, he battled such legends as Mirko Cro Cop, Ernesto Hoost, Ray Sefo, Jerome Le Banner, Peter Aerts, Lyoto Machida and Heath Herring. Greco is also a five-time Australian Karate champion and came third in the 1999 K-1 World Grand Prix.
Submission Radio posts technique videos every Wednesday, demonstrating a variety of moves from BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Sambo, and much more.
