Video: Henry Cejudo gets the championship treatment on UFC 197 Embedded

Henry Cejudo is an Olympic gold medalist, so he is no stranger to being treated like a champion. The 29-year old wrestling standout has the chance to become the UFC’s new 125-pound titlist this Saturday at UFC 197, where he plans to dethrone seemingly untouchable division kingpin Demetrious Johnson. On his way to Vegas Cejudo already gets a taste of what could await him in case of a win, as you can see in this third episode of UFC 197 Embedded.

He is just about to leave his place in Phoenix, AZ for Las Vegas. But since he’s on “Mexican time”, as he calls it, he enjoys the amenity of a private shuttle from the airport’s check-in desk to his boarding gate, where he gets announced the future UFC champion by the time he finally arrives. The championship treatment continues during the flight, where Cejudo and his team receive two bottles of champaign – a first glimpse at what his life could be like, should he beat Demetrious Johnson this Saturday at UFC 197.

Also on this episode: Jon Jones shows off his impressive new physique during a swimming session and later arrives in Las Vegas, Ovince Saint Preux gets one of his last workouts in, and flyweight champ Johnson does the media tour in Los Angeles, where he reveals his strategy for Cejudo, “Just fight, that’s been the game plan for the last seven of them.”

UFC 197 takes place this Saturday at UFC 197 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The event is headlined by the return of Jon Jones, as well as a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo.
