Claudia Gadelha can’t wait until it’s time for her to meet Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the Octagon one more time. Things have heated up during the recordings of The Ultimate Fighter 23, which features both women as the head coaches, but according to Gadelha, Jedrzejczyk is just too stupid to get under her skin.
“Conor McGregor is very intelligent. He knows what he’s talking about. ” Gadelha told Combate. ” If you tell him something, he will fire back. Joanna is not like that. She’s stupid. She tried to tease me the whole season, but I just ignored her. She tried to get in my head, but I think I got inside her head. She started out trash talking and trying to intimidate me, but whenever I replied, she would just stay quiet, she didn’t know what to say. You’ll see. She stopped trash talking midway through the season.”
Gadelha is expected to meet Joanna Jedrzejczyk on July 8 in Las Vegas at the TUF 23 finale, for the strawweight belt. The fight will be a rematch of a non-title fight Gadelha lost by split decision back in December 2014.
