It’s been over almost months since Tiffany Van Soest won the Lion Fight super bantamweight title at Lion Fight 27, and the American Muay Thai sensation still hasn’t been paid.

Van Soest, who has won multiple world titles throughout her 19-fight career, has been forced to put one of her belts up for sale due to Lion Fight — a North American Muay Thai promotion — not paying her for beating Ashley Nichols in January.

The 26-year-old broke the news on Twitter.

The multi-division champion also picked up the featherweight title when she brutalised Bernice Aldis at Lion Fight 22 (h/t Michael Stets of MMA Mania).

“Timebomb” is a life-long martial arts practioner, embracing Shōrin-ryū Karate from the age of eight, and is considered one of the most talented female combat sports athletes in the world. The 26-year-old has fought only once in MMA, losing to Jin Tang via triangle choke in 2011, and has perhaps hinted at a possible return to the sport in the near-future.
