Akhmat MMA results & video: Dez Green, Frodo move on in Grand Prix tournament

The recently founded Chechen promotion, World Fighting Championships of Akhmat – or Akhmat MMA for short – kicked off an ambitious Grand Prix event series lat Saturday that featured four separate weight divisions and tournaments. The Akhmat MMA show took place on March 12 in Grozny, Chechnya and featured an intriguing line-up of foreign fighters to complement the Russian and North Caucasus contingency on the card.

Americans like Desmond Green were successful in earning impressive TKO victories, while others like Ryan Quinn were finished in less than a minute of action.
