Conor McGregor’s getting used to having celebrity supporters. Dinosaur rock band U2 and leading man Colin Farrell have long been fans. Now Hell’s Kitchen star Gordon Ramsay has tweeted out his plans to attend UFC 196 to see McGregor battle Nate Diaz.
McGregor talked to Fox Sports about life as a celebrity magnet with his usual modest manner.
“Hollywood are all over it now. Hollywood wants a piece of this,” McGregor said. “That crowd will start to filter in and the gates will continue to rise as the American audience continues to lap up, I feel I’m touching markets the UFC have never touched before.
“We’ll continue to rise, continue to grow and see where it goes but the sky is the limit.”
As long as the Notorious One continues to win in the Octagon, expect Hibernian celebs to keep coming around.
