Edmond Tarverdyan has had a hell of a time of it lately. He’s been called out in the media by Ronda Rousey’s mother, maligned for his corner advice stemming from Rousey’s first career loss against Holly Holm, he’s found himself in bankruptcy court, and to top it all off, he lost his Second’s license that allows him to corner fighters in California, for failure to disclose past criminal offenses.

At least one of those is settled now, with the news that Tarverdyan’s California State Athletic Commission Second’s license has been officially restored. The license will apparently remain suspended for 3 months and he’ll have to pay a $5,000 fine. But, it’s better than “revoked” which is where he stood as of yesterday.

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported the news via Twitter:

Fortunately for Tarverdyan, it doesn’t sound like Rousey was planning on fighting in the next 3 months anyway, so he should be entirely in the clear to be at her side for her next fight, assuming other commissions don’t take their own actions against him.
