“Dude, trust me… Dude, you want insight in T.J. being frustrated… I had to… I had to talk that guy off a ledge, I mean, on a daily basis when he first started training with us, cause he’s… (scoffs) you know, he’d start cryin’ and (imitates frustrated inhale) he’d like try to kill somebody if they got one punch on him and he didn’t think they should, you know, like, he’s a competitive guy, so I knew – and I said I wanted to share my insight of the fight – I knew his temper was gonna be a problem in this fight. I knew that for a fact. I know him.”
Dillashaw lost his title to Cruz by split decision in Sunday night’s main event. Faber has made statements in the past about Dillashaw’s gym behavior, including claims that he has a temper and “hurts people in practice”, and it’s very possible that the T.J. will be asked more and more about this in the near future.
