The UFC had quite the roller-coaster year in 2015. The year started off with a couple of rough patches, with Jon Jones, Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva all getting into trouble. Without the stars of the past, the UFC heavily invested in the next generation, and ended the year with Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor being household names.
This was also the year where no champion was safe, where no name was safe from being misspelled on merchandise, and where no fighter was safe from a drug test. It’s safe to say that 2015 was one of the most interesting years in the history of the UFC. Here are some statistics and stories that emerged that made 2015 stand out.
