UFC on FOX 17 is just one day away and it’s a strong card considering how many quality fights were reserved for last week’s tripleheader of shows in Las Vegas. The main event is a lightweight championship bout between Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone, a rematch of a contest won by RDA in 2013, but this time dos Anjos is the champion. In the co-main, Junior dos Santos battles Alistair Overeem in a heavyweight tilt which could also double as Overeem’s last fight inside the Octagon. Overeem is a free agent after Saturday night.
As usual, before we get to the fights ahead we have to make sure they’re all on course to make weight. Bloody Elbow has live updates on the UFC on FOX 17 weigh-ins starting at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT on Friday, December 18th. Live video of the weigh-ins can be viewed by pressing the play button at the top of the page. We will provide updates here and on theĀ @BloodyElbow Twitter account.
