On the eve of UFC 194, Paris Filmes released on G1.com the teaser trailer for “Mais forte que o mundo – A história de Jose Aldo” (Stronger than the world – The Jose Aldo story) the film that tells the story of UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo.

The film shows Jose Aldo’s life when he was a beginner, trying to make a living in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro while fighting in smaller MMA events and a living in the gym and his progress as he signs with the WEC and the UFC.

The picture is expected to be released in 2016, but with no date yet. You can check out the teaser trailer above though. While other fighters have seen their stories dramatized on the big screen before, Aldo would be one of the first to actually have a feature film made about his life rather than just a documentary… At least, provided his film beats out the Ronda Rousey bio-pic to the big screen.

Back to real life, Jose Aldo is expected to take on interim featherweight champion, Conor McGregor at UFC 194, on December 12, in Las Vegas.
