Just 24 hours after the UFC Monterrey: Gastelum vs. Magny weigh-ins, Diego Sanchez is already 26.2 pounds heavier.

Sanchez, who faces Ricardo Lamas in the co-main event, will be making his featherweight debut after a 17-month layoff. The TUF Season 1 winner made his splash in the UFC as a middleweight, defeating Kenny Florian in the tournament finals to become the first ever Ultimate Fighter winner.

Since then, Sanchez had competed at welterweight and lightweight and now looks to make his mark as a top 145 lbs. contender.

“The Nightmare” posted a picture of his weight on Instagram at 2:30 p.m. ET today.

Sanchez last fought at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Khabilov, where he won in a highly controversial split decision against Ross Pearson in 2014. The 33-year-old claims he’s reinvigorated as a featherweight and will look to emerge as a potential title-challenger with a win over Ricardo Lamas later tonight.
