In case you’ve completely missed the result from yesterday, Ronda Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm and the fight wasn’t even close. Some fans who have been turned off by Rousey’s behavior outside the cage (and occasionally inside the Octagon) were in a celebratory mood as the UFC women’s bantamweight title changed hands for the first time ever.
Among the set of people absolutely happy to see Holm pull off the upset? Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who tweeted out how “soundly beaten” Rousey was and that she’s “not a nice person.”
Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten – not a nice person!

A few months ago, Trump said that Ronda is a fighter who liked him, but these two quotes from Rousey suggest the exact opposite:
“I mean, I wouldn’t vote for him. I just really wouldn’t trust the guy with running my country, that’s all.
“I’m not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don’t want a reality TV star to be running my country.”
For the record, Rousey supports democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. Who knows how big an impact such a devastating loss by Rousey could have on the race to the White House in 2016?
