Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for live results and in-depth play by play as the UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm pay-per-view (PPV) event takes place from the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Seemingly invincible 135-pound champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey puts her title on the line against widely accredited striker Holly Holm in the show’s centerpiece while pint-size destroyer Joanna Jedrzejczyk defends her strawweight title against Valerie Letourneau in the co-main.

Also on the main card: fan-adored scrapper Mark Hunt rematches Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (heavyweight), explosive kickboxer Uriah Hall draws boxer Robert Whittaker (middleweight) and, in the curtain-jerker, lanky striker Stefan Struve tangles with burly wrestler Jared Rosholt.

UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm
(PPV at 10 p.m. ET)

Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm
(women’s BW title)

R1: Rousey closes the distance behind a tight jab as Holm stays busy with circles. Holm connects on a short one-two off her back foot. Holm picks the right time to sit down on another salvo and it lands clean. Rousey lands a right, still in chase mode. Rousey clinches but can’t hold position and Holm breaks the clinch with a left hand a kick. Holm steps in with a beautiful horizontal elbow and it scores, but Rousey clinches and hits a throw.

Rousey immediately goes after an arm but it’s too loose and Holm shakes her off, though she eats a hard right from the champ while regaining her footing. Sharp left cross bobs Rousey’s head back. Another left cross to Rousey’s face. And another. We pause for Holm’s lost mouthpiece. Holm lands a stiff inside low kick on the restart and, amazingly, takes Rousey down from the body lock. Rousey pops back up and continues to chase Holm, eating quick counters. 10- Holm.

R2: Holm pops the bloodied Rousey with a straight left. And another. Now Holm catches her with a side kick to the body and another left cross. Rousey flails in a straight-line attack and loses her balance due to a sharp pivot from Holm. Holm dings Rousey with a left cross that causes her to stumble, then Holm flattens her with a CroCop-esque left high kick to the jaw. Rousey is down and out.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Valerie Letourneau
(women’s strawweight title)

R1: Jedrzejczyk pumps a jab from outside. Letourneau flings a one-two and closes with a left high kick. Jedrzejczyk has her kick caught and Letourneau converts it into a takedown. Letourneau cradles the leg and throws right forearms, then goes to a full cradle to prevent the escape. Jedrzejczyk shrimps out and gets free but Letourneau keeps her on the cage.

Jedrzejczyk lands a short knee and a short right. Letourneau lands a knee to the thigh and a left to the body. They separate at the two-minute mark. Jedrzejczyk drills her with a front kick to the face and it causes Letourneau to freeze for a moment. Jedrzejczyk tries to pounce but Letourneau does a good job of clinching defensively to gather her bearings. Jedrzejczyk breaks the clinch with a body kick. And another in open space. Letournea counters an outside low kick with a straight right. Jedrzejczyk lands another outside low kick. Letournea lands a left high kick with the foot. 10-9 Jedrzejczyk for the massive front kick.

R2: Jedrzejczyk closes a one-two with a low kick. Letourneau lands a left kick to the body. Jedrzejczyk catches a Letourneau kick but Letourneau catches her counter kick. Letourneau catches another kick and uses it to put Jedrzejczyk on the cage. Sharp horizontal elbow lands for the champ with her back on the fence and she scores with another body kick on the clinch break.

Glancing right hook from Jedrzejczyk but she has another kick caught. Jedrzejczyk lands a low kick and Letournea answers with a counter right. Letourneau counters with a another right and then lands again with a right on the next exchange. Jedrzejczyk closes with a low kick and then finds the mark with a right upstairs. 10-10.

R3: Letourneau forces a clinch but eats a short elbow. Two lefts to the head from Letourneau but Jedrzejczyk circles off the fence. They separate. Jedrzejczyk digs in with a low kick and Letourneau’s leg buckles. Jedrzejczyk bobs Letourneau’s head back with another front kick. Letourneau answers with a kick to the body.

Clean low kick lands for the champ. Letourneau catches the next front kick and glances with a punch. Jedrzejczyk switches to southpaw briefly, then goes back to orthodox with a sharp inside low kick. Now a right slips through for Jedrzejczyk. Lead left to the body from Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau glances with a counter right. Jedrzejczyk lands a right kick to the body, then a front kick; Letourneau tries to catch both but can’t. Letourneau lands a left body kick as Jedrzejczyk counters with a right upstairs. 10-9 Jedrzejczyk.

R4: Jedrzejczyk opens with a clean jab. Letourneau tries to clinch but she’s backed off with a right. Two more rights from the champ, who’s owning things from distance. Sharp right to the grill lands for Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau still catching kicks but she’s been unable to capitalize. Jedrzejczyk uses punches to set up a chopping low kick and it causes Letourneau to limp in her first few steps.

Letourneau slips a left kick under the arm and into Jedrzejczyk’s body. Another body kick from Letourneau. Jedrzejczyk jabs to the body and finds the mark with an outside low kick. Letourneau lands clean on two of a three-punch combo. Outside low kick from Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau answers with a left body kick. Jedrzejczyk pops her with two clean punches to the head. 10-9 Jedrzejczyk.

R5: Jedrzejczyk flashes a one-two to set up an outside low kick. She repeats and lands the same combo. Letourneau sneaks in a left body kick to the ribs. Nasty one-two from the champ off her back foot. Letourneau scores with a counter right. Two consecutive low kicks from Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau finds a way to land another left body kick. Outside low kick and a short elbow land for Jedrzejczyk.

Outside low kick, one-two and an inside low kick from the champ. Letourneau catches a front kick but eats a horizontal elbow. Check hook is good from Jedrzejczyk. Letourneau connects with a two-punch combo. Jedrzejczyk switches to southpaw and lands an outside low kick. We pause for an accidental poke to Jedrzejczyk’s eye but restart quickly. Fluid, nonstop and varied combos from Jedrzejczyk. 10-9 Jedrzejczyk. I have it 50-46 Jedrzejczyk.

Mark Hunt vs. Antonio Silva

R1: Hunt grazes with an outside low kick. Silva backs him off with a front kick. Two more glancing kicks to the body from Silva. Hunt double jabs to the body and comes high with a right; Silva counters with a right. Another outside low kick from Hunt. Hunt cracks him with a right roundhouse kick to the body that lands with the foot.

Inside low kick from Hunt before ducking a Silva right. Silva answers with an outside low kick. And another. Hunt lands a short right and glances with a streaking left hook. Hunt stays on the trigger and bounces a heavy right off Silva’s head, and it crumples him.

Uriah Hall vs. Robert Whittaker

R1: Whittaker lunges forward with a glancing left hook, applying pressure early. Now Whittaker explodes forward to tag Hall with a scorching overhand right. Hall plunges a front kick to the body. Hall gets a little busier with punches but his hands are dropping dangerously low. Whittaker lands a low kick and flings a massive right hand.

Hall spins twice, pulling back on a tornado kick, then throws a spinning kick that Whittaker times for a reactive takedown. Whittaker lands a shot from the top. Hall tries to scramble free but Whittaker retains control and ends up in side mount. Whittaker passes to full mount but Hall scoots free instantly. Whittaker stands and lands a pair of rights before falling back into side mount. Whittaker goes to knee-on-belly and passes to full mount, then takes Hall’s back. Hall spins into Whittaker’s guard but only has time to throw one elbow. 10-9 Whittaker.

R2: Hall throws a dipping right elbow and whiffs, and his loss of balance allows Whittaker to clinch. The separate with the fighters trading jabs in open space. Hall takes what seems like an accidental eye-poke but the replay shows it landing as a clean, closed-fist punch. They’re restarted quickly with Whittaker landing two low kicks.

Whittaker switches stances and lands a left, then goes back to orthodox. Another low kick lands for Whittaker. Hall answers, then catches Whittakers next low kick and lands a hard left kick to the body. Hall with another outside low kick. Teep to the body for Whittaker followed by another low kick. Whittaker pivots left and lands a left hook to the head. 10-9 Whittaker.

R3: Whittaker steps off-center to land a left hook, Hall counters and Whittaker drills him with a short but heavy right. Hall visibly winces and starts blinking his left eye, then completely turns his back to Whittaker. Whittaker throws a few punches and gets the rear waist cinch. Hall spins to face him and Whittaker goes for a single, then breaks the clinch with a right horizontal elbow.

Hall glances with a left head kick and then lands a jumping knee. Hall comes forward and lands two hard knees from the single collar tie, then keeps Whittaker on the fence. Knees to the thigh from Hall, then one to the body. They separate with Hall landing a clean front kick to the face. Hall lands an inside low kick as Whittaker counters with a jab. Whittaker scores with an outside low kick, then glances with an overhand right. Hall again completely turns his back when Whittaker buzzes him with a left hook. 10-9 Whittaker. I have it 30-27 Whittaker.

Jared Rosholt vs. Stefan Struve

R1: Rosholt wings a wide right over the top that comes up short. And another on the next exchange. Struve using a lead-leg teep to the body to keep Rosholt at range. Rosholt lands a low kick and times a takedown as Struve responds with one of his own, falling in side mount. Short hammer-fists to the head from Rosholt.

Struve spins to get full guard and Rosholt backs off, then re-engages with a stack pass. Rosholt peels his leg out of Struve’s closed half guard and passes to side mount. Struve squirms his way into guard position but Rosholt again backs out and re-enters. 10-9 Rosholt.

R2: Struve pressures with a long right. Rosholt holds his ground with a one-two. Glancing left body kick from Struve. Rosholt lands an outside kick to the thigh, then scoops up a single. Struve defends and Rosholt goes for a double leg with Struve on the fence, but Struve’s able to separate.

Struve with a right hook and uppercut that glances before Rosholt hits an easy takedown, again landing in side mount. Struve elevates him with a butterfly hook and nearly gets back to his feet but Rosholt drags him back down with a body lock. Herb Dean tells Rosholt to work in side mount and Struve nearly sweeps him the moment he does. Struve just misses with a lengthy up-kick. Rosholt passes to half guard but holds on rather than attempting to posture up and punch. Struve lands a series of short elbows to the head. 10-9 Rosholt.

R3: Struve lands a stiff jab. Outside low kick from Struve. Rosholt’s answer is glancing. Struve lands a step-in knee to the head. Rosholt pushes him against the cage but Struve separates. Struve glances with a big right head kick. Front kick downstairs for Struve followed by a right hand, and Rosholt dashes out of range.

Rosholt slips as Struve lands a left but he regains his balance and hits a double leg. Struve creates space and escapes. Struve lands a knee to the body and takes the wrestler down with a counter whizzer throw. Struve lands a few elbows at the bell. 10-9 Struve. 29-28 Rosholt on my card.
