Ronda Rousey is the star of the show at this weekend’s UFC 193 PPV in Australia. The undefeated bantamweight champion will take on former professional boxer Holly Holm in the main event.
“Rowdy”, who was recently listed as one of the highest paid female athletes in the world, has sucked up all the media attention since she touched down in Melbourne.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk, the UFC’s tenacious strawweight champion, will defend her title before Rousey in the co-main event, and she’s more than happy to play second fiddle.
“I’m happy to be here,” Jedrzejczyk told MMAjunkie. “I’m happy that I’m going to fight with Ronda, finally, so big thanks (to the UFC) for this huge opportunity. I like this part of my job. Ronda is the right person to be the headliner.”
The Polish sensation made her presence known in the UFC when she brutalized Carla Esparza to claim the strawweight championship at UFC 185. Jedrzejczyk entered the Octagon as a heavy underdog, but left as the best 115-pound fighter in the world.
Jedrzejczyk then went on to defend her title against Jessica Penne in Berlin, Germany, butchering her opponent with a catalogue of striking techniques. The Pole had rearranged Penne’s face into something resembling a Guillermo del Toro Pan’s Labyrinth prop.
Jędrzejczyk will defend her 115 lbs. championship against Valerie Letourneau at UFC 193 tomorrow evening at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
