Media day ahead of UFC 193 featured all the usual components, including the traditional staredowns between the fighters at the top of the card. With the women’s strawweight title up for grabs in the co-main event of Saturday’s show in Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, you’d probably figure champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and challenger Valerie Letourneau would get nose to nose. And they did!
Near the conclusion of today’s media day session at the stadium, Joanna and Valerie took the stage and squared off, with UFC president Dana White presiding over the both of them.
