It was hardly a thrill a minute, but it was definitely a spectacle. The LHW tourney both over and under performed expectations as King Mo dropped out after the first round with an injury and we ended up watching Phil Davis vs. Francis Carmont in the finale. But back to back first round finishes saw Davis deliver most of the night’s best action and a title belt around his waist. Next for him is champ Liam McGeary who made short work of Tito Ortiz with a nifty reverse triangle off his back.
Oh… and Fedor is back! Still, the fights seemed to drag a bit, especially for those that watched all through the prelims. Not bad, not great, definitely a bit ostentatious. But those are just my thoughts. What did the fighters on the sidelines think? Check it out:
