Since being surprisingly cut after one loss to Rousimar Palhares in the UFC back in 2011, David Branch has had quite an impressive turn around in his career. On Friday night, the Renzo Gracie black belt improved his post-UFC record to 9-1, with a quick submission win over Teddy Holder.

With the victory, he took the WSOF light heavyweight title and now becomes a two-division champion in the promotion. Since his UFC stint 4 years ago, he has beaten established vets such as Yushin Okami, Paulo Filho, Danillo Villefort and others, with his only loss being a decision to top UFC contender Anthony Johnson.

Watch him get his 2nd belt in as many divisions.

Known for routinely providing exciting fights, Justin Gaethje lived up to his billing with yet another highlight reel finish. He knocked out Luis Palomino to defend his WSOF crown, and you can watch the clip below.

Earlier on the card, “Phoenix Jones” Ben Fodor pulled off a rarely seen leg scissors submission victory.
