
The MMA world cannot stop talking about the NAC’s decision to ban the UFC’s Nick Diaz for 5 years following another violation of the state’s marijuana policy. Despite inconclusive test results and a seemingly strong defense put up by Diaz’s legal team, the NAC played the “disrespect” card and laid down heavy punishment for Diaz that could effectively see his MMA career end.
On Tuesday, UFC president Dana White responded to a fan’s Twitter request to give his thoughts on the Diaz controversy, and he made it a point to separate himself from the NAC’s decision making.

However brief it may be, he’s the first major UFC figure to publicly make any sort of comment on the matter.
While Dana has said his piece (and probably will say more down the line), MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani noted that the UFC would not provide any comments regarding the NAC’s decision.
