Johnson: Fans who booed at UFC 191 are ‘f***ing idiots’

UFC 191 was a mostly forgettable night of fights by the UFC’s standard.

Yet while the event was not much to write home about, it featured a headlining bout between one of the great champions on the roster: Demetrious Johnson. ‘Mighty Mouse’ defended his flyweight title against John Dodson for the second time in his career and did so in a far more convincing showing than their first encounter several years ago.

However, while Johnson showcased his impeccable skill set, fans in attendance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena voiced their opinion of the fight by booing profusely through certain portions of it.

Naturally, Johnson was not impressed.

“They booed Frank Mir and Andrei Arlovski, and they might have even booed Anthony Johnson,” Johnson told MMAFighting.com following the UFC 191 post-fight press conference. “The fans are fans. They’re just fucking idiots.”
