
I know one of the things at the forefront of the average MMA fan’s mind following Demetrious Johnson’s win over John Dodson was, “What does Conor McGregor think of all this?” It’s common, and I too tend to fall into the same line of thinking when I’m at the grocery store. Thankfully, today is your lucky day, because the UFC interim featherweight champion actually did have some thoughts on Mighty Mouse, and genuine ones too! While McGregor makes his mark with his unrelenting trash talk and self-promotion, here’s a moment of praise for Mighty Mouse in this series of tweets:

While Johnson remains the only flyweight champion in UFC history, McGregor will look to dethrone the only champion in featherweight history, Jose Aldo, at UFC 194 this December. Presumably a win for McGregor can also set-up the potential for Mighty Mouse’s shock move to 145 to challenge the Irishman.
