Today is the UFC’s “Go Big” press conference, which highlights the stacked fall and winter slate of events that the promotion has lined up for fans to close out 2015. The 2nd to last show of the year is obviously the big UFC 194 pay-per-view, headlined by Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor. Most of the feature fighters on the upcoming cards were in attendance in Las Vegas, including Aldo and McGregor. The media Q&A quickly (and predictably) turned into the McGregor show, and when he and Aldo got into a staredown, it just about ended in a clash of heads before security restrained Conor. Aldo left the presser following the staredown, and McGregor had this to say afterwards:
“What am I supposed to do? He’s gone running again. I don’t know whether he’ll be back. All I know is that I will be there December 12th, like I always am there! People are always saying about ‘the talk and I talk and I talk and I talk’. But guess f**kin what? I back it up! I back it up!”
Oh, and Aldo apparently had to leave to attend a wedding:
Jose Aldo apparently has to leave early because he’s the best man at a wedding, and McGregor just goes off.
