Technique of the Week: Dirty boxing Judo throw from the clinch
Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

Daniel Kelly will be fighting BJJ specialist Ricardo Abreu at UFC 193 in November, when the UFC returns to Australia in hopes of filling Etihad stadium with 70,000 screaming fight fans. But before the Aussie returns to do battle inside the octagon, he’s got a few moves to show you.

In the latest installment of Submission Radio’s “Technique of the week”, the 4-time Olympic Judoka shows off one of his favorite moves from his MMA arsenal, the “Koshi Guruma” Judo throw from the clinch.

Utilizing the help of fellow Australia Judoka and Olympic 2016 hopeful Eion Coughlan, Dan demonstrates how to use strikes and dirty boxing from a typical MMA clinch to set up the Koshi Guruma and toss your opponent to the floor like a rag doll.

Submission Radio posts technique videos every Wednesday, demonstrating a variety of moves from BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Sambo, and more.
