UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey has announced that her next championship defense will be against Holly Holm at UFC 195. She made the announcement live on Good Morning America.
Rousey was expected to have a trilogy fight against top contender Meisha Tate at the same event, but it appears that plans have changed. Holm will be the 7th women to challenge Rousey for her UFC championship.

Rousey’s last fight was a 34 second knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC 190. The PPV was the highest selling event of the year according to the UFC, establishing Rousey as the companies biggest draw.
UFC 195 will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 2nd, 2016.
