Glory has added another world title fight to the big Bellator/Glory Dynamite card. As announced on the Glory 23 broadcast, Dynamite will include Gabriel Varga vs. Sergey Adamchuk for the Glory Featherweight title.
This will be Varga’s first defense of the belt since winning the inaugural title at Glory 20 in April. The Canadian fighter is 5-1 in Glory, and coming in off his title win over Mosab Amrani. Challenger Adamchuk made his debut for the organization at Glory 22, taking an upset decision win over veteran Marat Grigorian. That fight was at Lightweight – he’ll be dropping down for the title shot here. Should be a great, exciting fight.
Varga vs. Adamchuk is the third fight announced for the Glory portion of Dynamite. Also on the card is Saulo Cavalari vs. Zack Mwekassa for the vacant Glory Light Heavyweight title, plus Paul Daley vs. an opponent yet to be announced. The card also features MMA fights from Bellator, including Tito Ortiz challenging Liam McGeary for Bellator’s Light Heavyweight crown plus a one night four man Light Heavyweight MMA tournament.
Dynamite will take place on September 19 live on Spike. Bloody Elbow will have coverage leading up to the event, plus live fight night coverage on the 19th.
