UFC Nashville’s main event may be a reminder of the underwhelming state of the light heavyweight division, but it’s also a meaningful matchup between two solid contenders in Glover Teixeira and Ovince Saint Preux. Following the same theme, this unassuming fight card is replete with interesting fights beween relevant fighters, some of them early on in the prospect stage, and others on the cusp of title contention.
In the latter category, Michael Johnson and Beneil Dariush will spend their three-round co-main event deciding which of them is lightweight’s next big thing. With each man offering intriguing foils for the other’s style, this one is sure to be a compelling contest. Farther down the card, blue chip prospects Ray Borg and Geane Herrera meet in a fight that shouldn’t disappoint fans of exciting, back-and-forth scrambles.
And best of all, this card has a lot of tempting betting opportunities, with several lines that don’t reflect the closeness of the matchmaking. But you’ll have to watch Zane, Connor, and Kid Nate’s discussion to learn more about that.
